The Upanishads – English Translations

The Upanishads are an anthology of 108 ancient Hindu sacred texts by different rishis, or “seers,” from the Vedas, which are said to be revelations received by seers while in a state of higher consciousness. These sacred verses, working together, provide profound insight into the mystery of life and our spiritual awakening.
The Upanishads are also known as Vedanta in Vedic philosophy, which means “the end of the Vedas.” as the Upanishads are the last parts of the Vedas, There are 108 Upanishads, of which 13 are Vedic Primary Upanishads: Isha, Kena, Katha, Prashna, Mundaka, Mandukya, Taittiriya, Aitareya, Chandogya, Brihadaranyaka, Shwetasvatara, Kaushitaki, and Maitrayaniya. Some are exclusively in poems, while others are in prose. The Upanishads are the foundational texts of Indian philosophy.

Paniniya Shiksha – English Translations

Paniniya Shiksha is one of the popular 72 Vedic Shiksha. Shiksha is a Sanskrit word that refers to “teaching, lesson, study, and skill learning.” Shiksha is the discipline of Vedic sound research that focuses on the letters of the Sanskrit alphabet, emphasis, quantity, stress, melody, and the laws of euphonic word combination during a Vedic recitation.

Shiksha (Science of Phonetics), Vyakarana (Science of Grammar), Chandas (Science of Meters), Nirukta (Science of Etymology), Jyotisha (Science of Movement of Cosmic Bodies), and Kalpa are the six limbs that help in the study of Vedas (methodology of performing rituals).

Khudiram – Bengali Novel

This novel is inspired by the life of Khudiram Bose. Khudiram Bose (3 December 1889 – 11 August 1908) was an Indian-Bengali revolutionary who opposed British rule in India.

Khudiram along with Prafulla Chaki threw a bomb to assassinate the British Judge, Magistrate Kingsford thinking that he was in the car. Magistrate Kingsford was in another car, which resulted in the death of two British women, Mrs. Kennedy, and her daughter. Praful Chaki committed suicide before arrest. Khudiram was arrested. He was tried for the murders of two women and ultimately sentenced to death.

Khudiram was 18 years, 7 months, and 11 days old at the time of his execution, making him India’s youngest Indian revolutionary.
